2017 Marin Equity Summit

Create Equity for Youth! The Marin Equity Summit theme this year is “Youth” and includes everyone under 25.  Programs will also include issues facing adults who influence the ability of youth to flourish. Health Equity Marin City Health and Wellness Center will lead the Health equity programming. For information, or to participate, please contact Melanie Hamburger, Director of Development. Issue Areas Programs and panels will be conducted throughout the day addressing Equity from each of these perspectives: Race and Segregation Education Food Security Economics and Employment Transportation Environmental Protection and Justice Immigration Rights Housing and Homelessness Community Cohesion and Safety LGBTQ Conversations will address different aspects of equity as it relates to youth, and the intersectionality of the issue areas.
