Free Support Group: Putting Yourself First

January 22, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Drop-in for a free group during our 6-week session on Putting Yourself First. Take care of you in 2018! All groups will meet in the conference room of the Marin City Community Services District, across from the boxing gym. Attend one or attend all!

Putting Yourself First

This group that looks at our personal sense of value and purpose, and how to balance our own needs with those of others. We will cultivate our empowerment and sense of self, and look at any obstacles (internal or external) where we don’t act in accordance with our values and integrity. Often when we put other people’s needs first and overlook our own, we become drained or resentful. We will support group members in finding a healthy balance and setting attainable goals that can lead to more satisfaction in life. Self-care is crucial to being able to give to others. Visualize how you want your life to look. What kind of relationships do you seek? What are your needs and desires? Facilitator: Deborah Spake, MFTA. Mondays at 12:00pm
